The Lasdun Building houses the college's two main conference rooms, and in 2008 it was refurbished to a very high standard. Cambridge Audio-Visual was trusted with specifying and installing the equipment into this historic venue.

The main 120 seater auditorium is not only going to be used as a conference room and a lecture theatre but also as a cinema. With that in mind, the audience has the pleasure of a 5m wide projection screen, a 5,500 lumen Christie multimedia projector and a state-of the art Dolby surround sound audio system. The whole room is controlled by a Crestron room control system that in part operates via the college LAN.
